What are Boom Cards?

Boom Cards are digital task cards that you can play on the Boom Learning website. Boom Cards are accessible from ANY device with an internet connection including: laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, android tablets, Kindle Fire tablets, interactive whiteboards, and even your smart phone!

Why do we love them?

  • Easy to access, engaging, and interactive
  • Self-correcting
  • Auditory and visual feedback
  • No prep! That means… NO laminating, NO cutting, NO gluing, and NO Velcro!
  • Data tracking (with paid subscription)
  • Easier to use than digital PDF files

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. This is a GREAT way to bring in number sequencing in fun ways that connect to the other concepts and themes that we may be using in early childhood. I would love even more of these!
