These Powerpoint Countdown Timers are perfect for a variety of classroom uses. Whether it's displaying the time in a center or independent work station, or as an accommodation tool, these Countdown Timers give students an easy visual on the time remaining in a task.
For many students, it's important for them to see the time remaining in an activity, and it can also be motivating to try and beat the timer to finish a task. These countdown timers are perfect for setting clear expectations for independent work, partner activities, building stamina with reading or writing, time to clean up, and more! They're also a great accommodation tool for students with IEP's or 504's who benefit from using a timer. Because these are Powerpoint slideshows, they're easily shared with students for them to launch themselves on their own or shared devices.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
16 different timers in each scene
- 1 minute
- 2 minutes
- 3 minutes
- 5 minutes
- 7 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
After 15 minutes, the timers count down by minute rather than second.
- 20 minutes
- 25 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 35 minutes
- 40 minutes
- 45 minutes
- 50 minutes
- 55 minutes
- 60 minutes, or one hour.
Please note: These timings are not perfectly precise and are a few seconds off. While an extra 16 seconds doesn’t make a difference for most classroom needs, these timers SHOULD NOT be used for standardized assessments.
