Digital & Printable Money Worksheet | Google Slides™ Math for Distance Learning

Description

4/9/2020 Update: Link has been fixed, if you downloaded before 4/9 please re-download.

The download includes a link to the digital copy that you can share with students or assign in google classroom, and a copy that can be printed should students require a physical copy to maintain equity.

This worksheet was designed for the temporary need for distance learning, however can be used for many other purposes. When you assign this worksheet to students, google classroom would be the most successful way, make sure you check the box that forces students to make a copy of the page. To solve this worksheet, students click and drag the money from the left over to the right column to make the amount it is asking for. There are many combinations of coins and bills that can be used but I encourage my students to use the fewest amount of bills and coins, it can turn into a game J If you are like me and also have students who need a printed packet to maintain equity, I have also included a PDF version below where you can print and have students draw the picture of the money that belongs in the answer! Enjoy!

This resource I was able to pull and assign quickly. I didn't have to do any prepping or scaffolding. Students at this grade level (8th) were very engaged.
