Lots of prep work, relies on clunky websites

As a virtual teacher, I thought this would be super cool, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. There are vague directions for the teacher to use, and then you are directed to a clunky, junky website with no directions on how to use it. I would have to spend hours writing directions on what the kids should do and how to use the horrible website that these challenges require you to use. Hard pass!

The Digital STEM Challenges | Web Based Virtual Manipulatives and Digital Journal by Brittany Washburn Technology Skills Resources is such a fantastic tool! My students love the interactive format and stay highly engaged while working through each challenge. The digital journal feature is a great way to keep their thinking organized and show their problem-solving process. It’s easy to implement, saves me tons of prep time, and works perfectly for both classroom use and STEM clubs. Such a creative and valuable resource!
