Students solve math word problems with a Kids’ Spring/ Summer Activities and Shopping Theme. There are 24 math problems with 2 different digital formats to choose from using Google Slides for your Google Classroom. One choice is an "Interactive Multiple Choice" version with animated graphics and You Tube videos to help Students with each skill. The other is a "Typing in the Answer" version. Both are Editable.

There is also a section for Teacher Directions and Suggestions including steps to use this resource with your Google Classroom and videos if you get stuck or need more. The videos are geared for Students, Parents and Teachers.

This resource also includes optional Printables that will add even more engagement and fun. They include Game Boards, Game Pieces, and a Summer Coloring Sheet that students can use while or after they solve the problems. You can also print out 2 versions of answer recording sheets. One directs students to Show Their Work and their Thinking and the other is for Short Answers. An Answer Key is also available.

An Enrichment Activity is included where students can create and write their own word problems. There's a short prompt in the directions to help jump start their ideas. This works well for your Differentiation needs. Many of the printables are offered in Color or Black and White for your printing needs.
