Description

These dinosaur file folder activities provide a hands-on approach in helping children learn the basic skills of sorting by color, size, and shape. This resource is a perfect way to review these basic skills in a math center, small group, 1-on-1, or independent setting!  This would be a great addition to your preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, or special education class. Parents, this would also be a fun activity to incorporate in your tot schooling or homeschooling curriculum.  File folder activities are easy to prep and can be used year after year!

This product contains the following:

►5 Different File Folder Activities (with/without colorful backgrounds)

►Game pieces or cards to go with each activity

►Folder covers for each activity

►Tab labels for each activity

This resource was designed to be used in a file folder; however, it can be used as activity mats or holes can be punched in each page after laminating and placed in a 3 ring binder. File folder NOT included!

Activities in this resource include:

►1 Sorting Big and Small

►2 Color Sort

►1 Size Sort

►1 Shape Sort

Instructions for Assembly:

❶Cut out the folder cover and tab label.

❷Glue the cover to the front of the folder and the label to the tab.

❸Glue the game boards to the inside of the folder. 

❹Laminate the entire folder open for longer durability.

❺Laminate and cut out the game pieces.

❻Store game pieces in a plastic snack bag.

Common Core Standards Covered by This Resource:

✔K.MD.B.3 Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.
