Description

Allow students to choose their own review questions on translating and solving direct, inverse, and joint variation problems! Students will choose the difficulty of questions they want to solve - the harder the question, the more stars it is worth! Once they have earned 10 stars, they are finished with the activity. This is perfect for Algebra 2 students!

Allow the students to check their own work by posting the student answer key provided!

This is a great activity to practice translating and solving direct, inverse, and joint variation problems!

Just post star cards around the room and students will choose which problems to complete. The more stars a task card is worth - the more difficult the problem is. They can choose any questions, as long as they earn 10 stars!

Use it as a partner class activity and watch the collaboration happen!

OR

Have students work individually and use it as a formative assessment to gauge their understanding of the material.
