Getting my students to write is always a challenge, more so for those who feel they can't draw. This resource has allowed them all to be successful, and my students with more artistic inclinations feel free to add to the picture. I simply show them a video on the topic, we brainstorm a list of words we might use in our writing (so that they don't have to worry about spelling, they can refer to the chart), and then we might practice making some sentences orally for our ELL students. Then they are off! The repetition makes it easy for them to feel successful. I'm glad I got in early on the bundle! It's something I use almost daily. Thank you!
