This editable, digital workbook is made for helping students develop their Inquiry for the Sustained Investigation (SI) in AP Art & Design. Many more blank pages could be added for additional sketches, notes, etc). It is perfect for distance learning & editable in Google Slides.
I share this Digital Inquiry Development work book with my AP Art students so they can begin the Sustained Investigation (SI) process for the AP Art Portfolio Exam! This digital SI Development Sketchbook allows students to develop their Inquiry step-by-step, in an organized and stress-free manner, and helps them to develop a well-planned, thoughtful inquiry for the SI component of the AP Art Portfolio exam. This could be used for AP 2D Art & Design, AP Drawing, or AP 3D Art & Design.
It has blank workbook pages for the following:
- SI Brainstorming
- Expanding on Inquiry
- Knowing your "why"
- And more!
Helping Students Get Started:
- Share the Template Link With Your Students
- Have students choose File > Make a Copy (so that they get their own version)
- Have students share their link with you, by following these steps:
- Click the yellow "Share" button on the top right
- Under “Share” menu, click “change to anyone with a link”
- Choose “Anyone with the Link can View”
- Choose “copy link”. They can then send you this link you you can view their book. I typically make a word document with all my students links
- Let students have fun by customizing the cover with their favorite quote and a fun picture of their choice
- Students can get started planning their SI in their new digital workbook! :)
Want to edit the template further before sharing with your class? Choose to View > Master, and then you can edit the template!
