Description

This product is a FULL writing prompt with various uses. This particular prompt has LONGER articles, ones that are NOT excerpted. It could be implemented as: homework/independent reading the articles and then writing in a Social Studies or English class; a springboard for a Socratic Seminar, a preliminary way to read scholarly articles with a particular purpose in mind, an assessment, or practice for the PARCC research simulation task (RST). It includes the prompt, seven sources with MLA citation as well as a exemplar student model.
