Description

Learning to draw with Pen and Ink requires practice. Practice Makes Permanent - especially when it comes to drawing. Watch your middle and high school art students get excited to draw and watch the technical skill and confidence grow in your art classroom. This drawing exercise is perfect for classrooms on a budget - all you need is a ballpoint pen and a printed worksheet or sketchbook paper.

This drawing worksheet exercise is a very effective way to introduce the Art Element Value to young artists using ballpoint pen. It is also a great way to refresh intermediate to advanced students on pen and ink technique. Reference photos include everyday food items such as pizza, vegetables, french fries, chocolate and candy all things that kids love to draw.

Prep Tip: Simply cut drawing paper to 8 1/2 x 11 inches and substitute for copy paper - students have a worksheet printed right on drawing paper. :)
