It's about teaching kids, not just a subject or lesson. I do a lot of Project Based Learning (PBL) to encourage students to learn and apply knowledge in English and communication skills through an engaging experience: creating young children's books, animated cards, board games and video tutorials, cooking, filming (Lip dubs, lyric videos, and green screen), science experiments, etc.
I put great emphasis on being part of the community and develop friendships. I teach my students how to share, to work in big and small groups, and to appreciate each one’s differences! I am really happy when my awesome students whether they have special needs or not, ASD, Tourette syndrome or language-based learning disabilities, feel welcomed and loved in my inclusive classroom.
