I believe every child deserves the chance to think deeply, ask big questions, and feel seen in the stories they read and the conversations they share. My teaching style is rooted in critical thinking, inclusion, and student voice, encouraging learners to engage with texts in meaningful, reflective, and sometimes challenging ways.
I now create resources that scaffold rich discussion, invite diverse perspectives, and help students connect their reading to the real world. Whether it’s a book talk prompt or a critical literacy poster, everything I design is intended to support intentional, inquiry-based learning, because when students are empowered to speak, question, and respond, that’s where true learning happens.
Because literacy isn’t just about what we read, it’s about how we think, feel, and act because of it. ❤️
