This digital subtraction task cards resource contains 98 different task cards that help kindergarteners practice 5 subtraction skills (18-20 task cards for each skill)!

  • Subtraction with Pictures- Level 1 (K.OA.A.1)
  • Subtraction with Pictures- Level 2 (K.OA.A.1)
  • Subtraction within 5 (K.OA.A.5)
  • Subtraction within 10 (K.OA.A.3)
  • Decompose Numbers 11-19 with Ten Frames (K.NBT.A.1)

Having 5 different subtraction skills in one resource makes it easier to differentiate your instruction as well!

I've also included instructions on how to use these task cards in Google Classroom or Seesaw.

Plus, these are super easy for young students to use!! All text boxes are already provided and are highlighted in blue so it's easy for kindergarteners to see where to type their answers! There are also moveable pieces with directions for using those as well!**

**Note: If using Seesaw, there are no moveable pieces or text boxes, but students will be able to use the pen feature to draw/write onto the task cards!

I love the concrete nature of this resource. However, my students working on a tablet did struggle with the items resizing when dragged and dropped. I will continue to use this resource despite that difficulty. I would recommend to any learning support teacher.

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, there's no way for me to "lock" the image size on Google Slides that will still allow the kids to move the images around. If Google creates a fix to this issue, I will definitely update the resource so include that fix! I'm so glad that this was still helpful for you and your students!!
