This digital version of my ocean animal close reading activities is perfect to use with Google Classroom!!
Your students can read nonfiction passages about ocean animals and their adaptations, complete vocabulary matching activities, and also complete two comprehension activities for each animal!
The text boxes are already provided, so all your students have to do is type their responses.
Here is what is included in the complete digital file:
- 6 nonfiction reading passages (1 passage for each animal: whales, jellyfish, octopuses, sharks, sea stars, and seahorses)
- 6 vocabulary matching activities (1 for each passage)
- 12 comprehension activities (2 for each passage)
Because there are 6 different animals with vocabulary and comprehension activities, this resource can provide 6 days of learning (even more if you spread it out)!
There are several reading comprehension skills covered such as:
- Main idea and supporting details
- Complete the diagram and labels
- Facts vs. myths
- Ask and answer questions about texts
I've also included tips/instructions on how to use this with Google Classroom!
