Thanks for these! Love how they are marked with the standard. Easy to use and easy for me to know which parts of the geometry standards my kids have mastered.

You’re so welcome! Thank you for your purchase :) We found the standard marking on each to be so helpful in our own classrooms too. Enjoy!

This resource is EXACTLY what I needed! It hits on all things geometry for first grade- naming 2D and 3D shapes, describing shapes based on their attributes, partitioning shapes, composing shapes, and super fun ways to reason with shapes! I love the 3 games! My first instinct was to use these cards with rainbow jenga but I love the other 2 variations too. Thank you!

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Distinguish between defining attributes (e.g., triangles are closed and three-sided) versus non-defining attributes (e.g., color, orientation, overall size); build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes.
Compose two-dimensional shapes (rectangles, squares, trapezoids, triangles, half-circles, and quarter-circles) or three-dimensional shapes (cubes, right rectangular prisms, right circular cones, and right circular cylinders) to create a composite shape, and compose new shapes from the composite shape.
Partition circles and rectangles into two and four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, fourths, and quarters, and use the phrases half of, fourth of, and quarter of. Describe the whole as two of, or four of the shares. Understand for these examples that decomposing into more equal shares creates smaller shares.
