Description
This MEGABUNDLE includes individual Google Sheets from Go Math's Grade 4 homework practice book, Chapter 2 (lessons 2.1 to 2.10) and Chapter 3 (lessons 3.1 to 3.7).
Chapter 2- Multiply by 1-Digit Numbers
Chapter 3- Multiply by 2-Digit Numbers
Covers Math Standards 4.NBT.5 & 4.OA.1/4.OA.2
5. Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
1. Interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison, e.g., interpret 35 = 5 × 7 as a statement that 35 is 5 times as many as 7 and 7 times as many as 5. Represent verbal statements of multiplicative comparisons as multiplication equations.
2. Multiply or divide to solve word problems involving multiplicative comparison, e.g., by using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem, distinguishing multiplicative comparison from additive comparison.1
Push these google sheets out on Google Classroom for each child. They can input their answers from Go Math!, Grade 4, homework practice book to check their work!
Cell will turn green if the answer is correct. The cell will not change any color if the answer is incorrect. (This is called conditional formatting.) Google sheet gives students multiple opportunities to input answers if first try not correct. {student sample included as a thumbnail image}
Special instructions are given in bold and yellow (ex: Don't forget to label numbers 11 and 12)
It provides students the opportunity to receive immediate feedback and rework problems without having to wait until the next school day to see if their work is correct!
A fantastic way to integrate technology, provide immediate feedback, and give teacher formative assessment data.
Please check out my store for other Google Sheet HW Checks from additional chapters for 4th Grade's Go Math! series
