Description

Want an interactive, remote, and online way to teach your students how to divide whole numbers, many digits divided by many digits? This distance learning path or tour book is perfect for guiding your students step by step, using concepts and problem-solving. I have added links to online videos and activities to appeal to a variety of learning styles. Students click through the slides at their own pace and then record their answers on a separate sheet (using paper and pencil or online) which helps them remember what they are learning.

How can I use this product?

Share the Google slides with your students and they will view the slide show. Also, I have used it for a new student who comes to my class without understanding how to divide. It's also perfect for a flipped or remote classroom, so the students view the slide show at home.

Note: You can edit the slides to adjust to your teaching style.

What is included?

A PDF file (31 pages) with instructions to set up a free google account and how to copy the slide show into your google drive so you can share it with your students.

- Includes the student recording sheet (printable or online)

- Complete answer key

- Final test to show mastery

Google Slide Show - 201 slides with ten steps.

  1. Define division
  2. Dividing using 10 & 100 patterns
  3. Estimating using rounding
  4. Level 1: Dividing using an area model
  5. Level 1: Dividing using place value
  6. Level 2: Dividing using an area model/box method
  7. Level 2: Dividing using partial quotients (like place value)
  8. Dividing using the standard algorithm
