GET TO KNOW YOU:

This activity allows students to complete easy to use slides about themselves to turn into the teacher and/or share with their classmates. *Perfect length to have a deeper understanding of the student, while keeping it short enough to present to the rest of the class!

Features:

-Visuals for English Learners and visual learners

-6 slides:

1. Name, nickname, picture of the student

2. Family, pets, picture of their family

3. Favorite song, book, food, TV show, game

4. Emoji feelings (copy and paste emojis that represent their feelings about different topics)

5. Favorite things about themselves (personality, hair, eyes, smile, smart, caring, athletic, etc.)

6. School life (# of years at the school, favorite subject, most challenging subject)

HOUSE SCAVENGER HUNT:

Students are challenged to find a list of items around their house, and the student who finds the items first wins!

-6 different rounds

-lists of creative, common household items that every student is likely to have at their house

-visuals for each item listed (great for English Language Learners and visual learners)
