PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

  • This is a TRUE distance learning resource for students working away from the classroom OR on their own.
  • Can also be used for reteaching or in other whole or small group settings.
  • No need to print anything!
  • Resource covers fixed and variable expenses.

What’s Included?

  • Overview of Product with a link to the file in Google Slides (can easily be shared in Google Classroom once you have it in your Google Drive).
  • A PowerPoint of interactive student slides that includes definitions, examples of fixed and variable expenses, a “your try” slide where students can sort expenses, a “fix the error” slide, and 3 check for understanding questions modeled after released STAAR questions. This can be used by students or by the teacher in a whole/small group lesson.
    PLEASE NOTE: To use the interactivity of the slides, do not ”PLAY” the slideshow.
  • Answer Key document (PDF)

Total Number of Slides in PowerPoint: 11

For the interactivity of the slides, there is a sorting slide, and then a slide where they have to determine where the expenses will go based on a set of clues. They also have 3 multiple choice questions that are great for a quick assessment.
