Description

Virtual math unit aligned to the following standards:

3.NF.A.2.A Represent a fraction 1/b on a number line diagram by defining the interval from 0 to 1 as the whole and partitioning it into b equal parts. Recognize that each part has size 1/b and that the endpoint of the part based at 0 locates the number 1/b on the number line.

3.NF.A.2.B Represent a fraction a/b on a number line diagram by marking off a lengths 1/b from 0. Recognize that the resulting interval has size a/b and that its endpoint locates the number a/b on the number line.

Includes a how-to video for students. Students can manipulate the digital components and type in responses directly into the slides and submit through Google classroom.

This was so fun for my students! They really enjoyed doing this on the computer instead of a boring worksheet. I like that I was able to make a copy and differentiate it for my students different levels. I used it as a quick formative assessment.

I teach a math intervention class, and I am helping students understand the meaning of fractions. Using this product, the students learned how fractions are shown on number lines and how they could match up equivalent fractions. Great product, thank you!
