**Perfect for distance learning or remote learning**

This bundle of activities is designed to help with remote learning. The topic of "What is Science?" is thoroughly taught through the 5E method. This is a great intro unit when starting the year, giving the students a "why" when thinking about their study of science. The entire unit has been created in Google to make it easy to share with your students in this time of remote learning. The information is also included in a pdf packet form for those who made need paper copies for students without access. The week long lesson is good for sub plans too. This workshop is ready to go with very little planning. The mini unit includes:

1. ENGAGE: Quick questions and videos to gauge their current level of knowledge and draw them into the topic.

2. EXPLORE: Article full of information about our daily use of science with eye-catching graphics.

3. EXPLORE: Questions for the article.

4. EXPLAIN: What is Science video

5. ELABORATE: Students use their knowledge to find science in everyday life.

6. EVALUATE: Quiz

My only negative on this is that my school's internet filter wouldn't allow for the videos to be played. Hopefully it works much better for everyone else.
