Description

Hello!

Here is a bundle of a few of my resources for Virtual

Learning. Included are PDFs for teaching concepts as well as worksheets. Some of the worksheets you do not need to use (Like "Why we really really like repetition") if you plan to use the PDFs to teach.

The slides can be imported to google slides or on Seesaw.

In the following Bundle, you will receive the following:

1. "DISTANCE LEARNING: Examining Pop Music through Music Theory" Lessons:

Standard

9.1.9.B, 9.1.10.B, 9.1.11.B, 9.1.12.B

Recognize, know, use and demonstrate a variety of appropriate

arts elements and principles to produce, review and revise

original works in the arts

Standard

9.1.9.C, 9.1.10.C, 9.1.11.C, 9.1.12.C

Integrate and apply advanced vocabulary to the arts forms.

Students will be able to use musical terminology to define musical aspects in popular music as well as analyze popular music. These worksheets are a framework, you can make them easier or harder depending on your students' levels.

2. "Popular Music: It's Not What You Think" Multiple Virtual Lessons Insertable PDFs"

This product is a bundle of 3 lessons I have done with beginner high school students and middle school students when examining pop music and music theory. The lessons go over the following essential questions:

1) What is genre?

2) Is "Pop" a specific genre of music? Why or why not?

3) Do "Pop Music" and "Popular Music" mean the same thing today?

4) What is repetition? Is it good to have repetition in music?

4) What is meter?

We delve into meter more in the last lesson, and dissect the switching meter in pop song "Hey Ya," and also examine it's rhythmic components.

3) "Digital Tracking Sheets: Editable and PDF Versions"

These digital data sheets for specials teachers can be used during virtual learning to track when assignments were given and any grades you may need to record for classes you have seen.

There is a master list to record assignments given and then week day data sheets to record specific grades for classes you see that day.

I have created a Zip File. One of the products is a PDF which you can print and write in. The other is a PP presentation with protected images but editable tables you can enter in right on your computer.

Please contact me if you have any questions or are not satisfied. I would rather fix or edit a document than receive a negative review in my store (if I cannot help you, then leave a negative review!)

Hope you enjoy!
