This product hones in on the following math skills:

  • Knowing number names and the count sequence
  • Counting to tell the number of objects
  • Counting to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's
  • Writing numbers 0 to 20 accurately
  • Comparing numbers by identifying whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group
  • Adding and subtracting within 20, regardless of the placement of the equal sign
  • Identifying and discovering 2D and 3D shapes in every day contexts
  • Telling and writing time to the hour and the half hour

There are currently 116 task cards that fit PERFECTLY inside Target dollar spot foam dice! Simply roll and warm-up your math skills with your kiddos.

No dice? No problem! Simply print on bright paper, laminate if you choose, and work away! These cards can become your newest math center, part of your morning warm-up, additional practice during your math strategy groups, or even that extra 5 minutes you have before lunch. Enjoy!

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
