Complete "flipped" contextualized, project-based Language Arts writing course instruction kit for future engineers using the campus as a living lab model. This is an all-inclusive distance learning course that teaches Professional Writing and Environmental Sustainability and is appropriate for future or current STEM students.
This "Sustainability" themed, technical writing teaching and learning kit includes "view-do" writing process and skills instruction videos and sequenced lessons for five formal assignments: 1) Cover Letter/Resume, 2) Rhetorical Analysis Report, 3) Discipline Investigation: Q and A with a Professional, 4) Informal Planning Memorandum and "Idea Pitch" Presentation, 5) research-based Proposal. Great for STEM-track writing instruction! Flipped model: Writing skills videos can be assigned as homework, opening up the instructional time for writing lab activities (student-centered activity instructions included in the kit).
