This Distance and Midpoint Formula Bundle includes 2 products.

1. Distance Formula & Midpoint Formula: Notes & Practice

(3 pages total: two pages of notes and one page of practice)

On the notes pages, the distance and midpoint formulas are defined and there are nine "Lets try" problems to practice applying the formulas.

The practice page consists of 8 problems in which students will have to apply the distance or midpoint formula to solve.

The notes page could be used in class to introduce the distance and midpoint formulas or as a review of the formulas.

The practice page could be used in class as individual, partner or small group work or as homework.

*ALL Answer Keys Included

2. Distance & Midpoint Formula: RoundABout Cooperative Learning Activity

This resource is a cooperative learning activity designed to be used during class.

There are four versions of the activity page, labeled A, B, C and D.

Students are put into groups of 4 and each group member is given a different version.

Students rotate each version around their group as they work on the problems.

The solution to each problem is a crucial component of solving the next.

If you have a group of 2 or 3, the activity will still work. Just handout 2 or 3 versions and the students can keep trading around or back and forth until all 4 problems are complete.

If you have lower level students, you may want to make modifications such as giving every student in a group the same version so they can help each other more and discuss the answers with each other as they work their way through the challenge.

Loved product because of notes, worksheet, and round-about. The round-about allowed me to make sure students truly understood the content. It also had the example of find endpoint when midpoint is given
