Use these note sheets to introduce the Distance and Midpoint Formulas to your students. They're each one page in length and include examples.
The DISTANCE notesheet includes a picture to depict how the distance formula relates to Pythagorean's Theorem. It also has one example when given two points and another example when given two points on a coordinate grid.
The MIDPOINT notesheet includes examples of finding the midpoint given two endpoints AND finding an endpoint when given the midpoint and one endpoint. It also includes the algebraic method for solving the problem as well as modeling it out.
