Description

This notes page focuses on simplifying expressions using the distributive property. There is an example and scaffolded practice for (1) basic distributive property and (2) distributive property with addition/subtraction outside the grouping.

I use the notes after the first learning process. When my students have struggled on a quiz I pull out these notes as a reteach and practice opportunity. I've realized that some of my students just need extended practice of a skill. This is what I designed these notes around.

Useful resource that I was able to show students, they were able to align the information and have a better idea on their assignments.
