Description
Are you starting a Number Theory unit? Or wanting a quick refresher of divisibility rules for students? This introductory lesson provides creative opportunities for discovery and investigation of divisibility rules. It helps scaffold students’ understanding of the divisibility tests (for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10) and provides a firm foundation for using them going forward.
**PLEASE NOTE** This is an optional lesson in my 2-week Number Theory unit. While this will easily work as a stand-alone lesson, if you like the style and content, you can purchase the full 6-lesson unit HERE.
CONTENTS
- Detailed Teacher Lesson Plan: With learning objectives, notes on pre-lesson planning, step-by-step instructions for activities, and even suggestions for delivery.
