Description
I love using task cards in the classroom! They can be used multiple ways, they can be laminated and reused, they are an easy form of assessment, and they allow the kids to get up and move around the classroom!
The Divisibility Rules Task Cards include 20 cards that increase in difficulty. Students will be testing the number for divisibility by 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10.
- Cards 1 - 7 include 3-digit numbers
- Cards 8 - 16 include 4-digit numbers
- Cards 17 - 20 have students finding the smallest number that is divisible by 3 numbers.
Student recording sheet and an answer key are included.
My preferred method:
1.) Print the cards (preferably on card stock).
2.) Laminate the cards.
3.) Post the cards around the room.
4.) Run an answer sheet for each child.
5.) After they solve a couple of cards at a time, have them come to you and check to see if they are understanding the concept. Put a checkmark in the box if they are correct!
Other uses:
•Hand one card to each child for an exit ticket. Have them use an expo marker to write the answers on the back.
•Review assignment before testing.
•Play a game of ”Bump” with the cards.
•Use in small group instruction.
