It's time to get militant with these facts! These two pages are the cover page and insert for creating your own division battleship. Once students place their ships on their board, they can guess were their opponent's ships are by reciting division sentences like 15 / 3 = 5. This also helps teach them about coordinate grids and pairs! The divisor (second number) is the X (over) and the dividend (answer) is the Y (up/down). As with the actual battleship game they can "hit" or "miss", but they can also launch a "dud" by naming the wrong quotient. Have fun and may the best one win! :-)
