Description
This is a small group Math station I created for my second graders. It is designed to introduce and practice the concept of whole number division.
You will need: ice cube trays, a permanent marker to write inside the trays, and counters (like beans).
Students practice using the ice cube tray, like a ten frame, to divide up specific amounts of the counters.
I have included four practice pages. One is using only even numbers, one of odd numbers, and one of dividing by five and ten. I have included a blank worksheet for you to write in amounts to customize the problems to complicate or simplify as you see fit.
Enjoy!
