Description

Students will practice dividing with area models while using these 12 task cards. It is also available in a part of a Division Strategies Task Card Bundle! Save $3 when you buy all of the cards!

This set addresses a PART of Common Core Standard

5.NBT.B.6 - Find whole-number quotients of whole numbers with up to four-digit dividends and two-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.

These cards are 4 per page and look great in color, and I have also included an identical set with the background removed for those without color printers or who prefer to print in black and white.

Simply print, cut, and you're ready to use these as a center activity, in a game, or as extra independent work for your students.

An answer recording document and answer key are included.

Specific learning targets addressed include:

- using division strategies

- divide using partial quotients
