Description
Practice division and multiplication skills with these super simple domino games! This activity allows students to engage in learning by matching division equations with their quotient and multiplication equations with their product! An easy and low-prep resource to use with math facts!
Product Includes:
- 3 Different Division Domino Games (Division by 0-6, by 7-12, and 0-12)
- 2 Different Multiplication Domino Games (Multiplication Facts 0-6 and 0-12)
- Each game has several pages of dominoes
- Each game has a recording sheet to keep track of student answers (if wanted do not need to use it with the game)
Game:
Simply print the game on either cardstock or laminate and cut it out to have a resource on hand for years to come!
Division facts are split up into 3 games to allow for differentiation! I suggest having students master dividing by 0-6 before playing the other games!
Multiplication facts are split into 0-6 and all facts 0-12! Great way to practice fact fluency!
Use this super fun resource during centers with multiple students or allow it as an option for students to practice alone during independent work time!
Lay out the starting domino (one with the star) to start the game. Students should start with 6 dominoes (can be more or less) with the extra dominoes in a separate pile face down! The game is played like traditional dominoes and the person who gets rid of all their dominoes first wins! If a student can't use a domino in their hand, they then can pick from the dominoes in the pile until they can go!
Use the recording sheet to keep track of matches made as the game is played. Students should only keep track of their own matches. This allows you to check their understanding of the skill if needed. This is not a requirement to play the game, but allows for an easy assessment of learning!
Games promote collaborative fun in the classroom while practicing skills!
