Instructions for Working with the Resource
The Memory Matching Game is a classic concentration-style activity where students match pairs consisting of related math expressions and results (e.g., a problem and its solution). Print the pages in Letter or Tabloid size (A4 or A3). Each student or group receives a sheet with one game set, cuts out the squares, shuffles them face down, and then takes turns flipping over two cards at a time to find the matching pairs. The number of available game sets allows you to:
- give all students the same game and repeat it in a different lesson,
- give each student a different game,
- assign identical or varied sets to small groups.
