INTERACTIVE SMARTBOARD SLIDES | ANIMATED. Help even your neediest special education students connect with core vocabulary using these animated, visually simple and repetitive slides on your smartboard to engage them during AAC group or circle time.

Students tap or click either a happy face or a sad face to answer the question, "Do you like _____," in response to the pictured Thanksgiving dinner item. Once clicked, the faces disappear and either the sentence, "Yes, I do," or "No, I do not," appears with fun sound effects depending upon what the student clicked.

Realizing there are are various symbols in use for the words, "Yes" and "No," I made sure to only show the sentences at the end of each slide so that you can model the specific symbols you use on your big core board or on student devices. Also, please note that I did not use the contraction, "don't," because it cannot be properly modeled.

The Thanksgiving dinner food items (21) include: Salad, biscuit, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli, sweet potato, green bean casserole, noodles, bread, milk, cranberries, veggie tray, cornbread, baked potato, cupcake, apple pie, ice cream, pumpkin pie and whipped cream.
