Kindergarten sight words mini bundle includes 5 different ways for your kinder students to practice the Dolch Pre-Primer 40 sight words. They will have a chance to build all 40 words (letter tiles included). In these Sight Word Builder mats, students will not only build the sight word, they will trace it, write it, and search for it. Awesome way to keep your kinders engaged and learning. The second kinder sight word activity is Sight Word Writing Prompts. In this writing activity, students will practice writing the sight words. In this type of activity, students will use the repetition and writing in a meaningful way to help them retain and recognize the sight words. And in the third activity, Sight Word Sentences, students will build fluency reading sentences that include all 40 Dolch Pre-primer sight words. These sentences also include an abundance of CVC words for extra practice, as well as common vocabulary. The fourth resource is a fun, engaging, NO PREP activity! And the fifth activity includes a Dolch Pre-Primer Sight Words Mini Book.
Students can use these 5 activities in so many different ways. It can be used in guided reading, letter recognition, beginning sounds, capitalization (a sentence starts with a capital letter, names start with a capital letter), alliteration, letter knowledge (search for tall letters, search for letters with curves, etc.), punctuation (a sentence ends with a period, question mark, etc..) print awareness (a space goes between words, reading is done from left to right) and vocabulary.
