Description

This editable foldable provides students with an organized set of notes and practice problems for identifying the domain and range of a function. Examples include lists of ordered pairs, tables, and graphs. There is an option that includes discrete functions and a second option that includes continuous graphs, as well.

Perfect for interactive math notebooks! I use this type of assignment during whole group guided instruction, but it would also work great for intervention, small group, centers, or during a tutoring session.

This download includes a print + go PDF version and an editable PowerPoint file. Please download the preview to get a better look at the page set up and the exact content included.

Exactly what I was looking for. I am going to use this as a warm up for the day after I have introduced the concept. We can check it and it will go right in their INB as a visual.

Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is the set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.
Understand that a function from one set (called the domain) to another set (called the range) assigns to each element of the domain exactly one element of the range. If 𝘧 is a function and 𝘹 is an element of its domain, then 𝘧(𝘹) denotes the output of 𝘧 corresponding to the input 𝘹. The graph of 𝘧 is the graph of the equation 𝘺 = 𝘧(𝘹).
