Description
This is activity is provided both as a paper & digital activity (great for distance learning).
Students use ten task cards (eight graphs, one table, and one set of ordered pairs) to practice finding the domain and range of each. They will also decide if the relation is a function or not a function. This a great activity to post around the classroom and allow students to use the provided recording sheet to match the given possibilities. Having a table to organize their possible matching options makes checking students' work super easy. The table also has a column for students to tell whether each relation is a function or not. The ten provided cards can be copied onto colored paper to post around the room to make for an engaging walk-around activity, or copied smaller onto colored card stock for task cards, good for seated partner work, or small group centers. Provided: ten task cards, complete directions, student recording sheet, work space page, and answer key.
Alternatively, this resource also includes a DIGITAL VERSION in Google Slides. Students use the same cards as if they were doing the activity on paper, but they write their answers into the provided text boxes rather than a paper recording sheet. An answer key is provided to make checking answers quick and easy.
