Description
This product is a one-page note page on the definition of the metric system, along with the different ways mathematicians measure using the metric system. Included is a sample note page created by me with answers included.
Students fill in important terms and definitions, practice this standard, all while doodling to encourage the link between left and right brain connections!
Doodling in math not only eases stress, it also allows students to make connections within content and encourage stronger retention.
I will be using these notes to teach with my own fourth and fifth grade students. Students will use a binder format to host these notes. You may also want to use it for homework or independent work.

Great value
My students enjoyed using this resource and it helped extend my lesson! Thank you!
Students thought it was very interactive. Better than reading from the textbook
Great to use in a sample lesson for an interview with students!
My students love to doodle. They were not only learning the material, but art was included!
I’m a bad teacher, I hate metrics. I have never had to use metrics except when I have to teach it. So this was a perfect resource for me!
Thanks.
Wish it said mass instead of weight, but it is super cute and concise.
The kids liked coloring these and I think it helped them too!
