This engaging activity designed for Google Classroom allows students to sort 40 cards with different controlled substances or paraphernalia in two different manners: one based on punishment on Texas Health & Safety Code (class C misdemeanor, class B misdemeanor and so on) and the other identifying the drugs. The first sort is based on Possession of Paraphernalia, Marijuana and Penalty Group 1 drugs. The second sort has students identify paraphernalia, marijuana, heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. Students will need background knowledge of punishments and controlled substances to be able to classify punishments and drugs by pictures. Buyers will receive a link for the Google Slides student worksheet (directions, cards, 2 sorts included), a grading key and teacher directions.
