Description

Do your 2nd graders struggle with drawing basic shapes? What about you teaching you k/1st graders how to draw shapes? I have successfully taught many of my students how to draw shapes using simple dots.

Product includes drawing a square/rectangle, triangle, parallelogram, trapezoid, pentagon, and arrow! There is a step by step, tracing part, some include a different direction of the shape, and spaces to practice.

This resource can be used as a whole group lesson (just follow the steps together.) You can also use this in a center or for individual or partner practice. This is a great lesson(s) to use before your shapes unit, maybe on test day after the last lesson prior to beginning. Print out as a worksheet or use in dry erase pockets.
