Description

Future teachers need to learn about Educator Health & Wellness and different ways that promote self-care. This activity includes a short lesson on Educator Health & Wellness and a week long project students can work on individually or in partners to complete.

In this 4-5 day project, students will collaborate to design a mobile app aimed at supporting educator health and wellness. The project can be broken up into 4-5 days or you can combine days if you have more time in class. Each day focuses on a key aspect: identifying wellness needs, researching existing tools, brainstorming unique features, and creating their apps design. The app could include features like stress management, work-life balance tools, and wellness tracking. By the end, students will present their app concept, showcasing how it addresses the holistic well-being of educators.
