Description

This resource is for those who are teaching First Grade EL Reading Curriculum. For the Sun, Moon, and Stars Unit 2 assessment, they participate in a Science Talk Protocol. However, I made a "Support Page" for those students who have Selective Mutism and ESL students. The ESL page is in Spanish and only comes in Spanish.

The Support Page has the student answer the questions, "What patterns do we see in the sky?" and "What makes day? What makes night?" while drawing a picture. On the back, they will write what questions they may have about these items and what facts they know about the Sun, Moon, and Stars. This way, the teacher can still track if the student has been paying attention, if they can answer questions, and if they can answer questions.
