⭐️ Looking for a simple way to add 6th Grade ELA review to your routine? These ELA Weekly Assessments provide daily reading comprehension and vocabulary practice so students review key skills while you monitor their progress throughout the week!
There are certain ELA skills (grammar, vocabulary, language) that are hard to get in our regular lessons and there are some skills our students need to review repeatedly (text structure!!).
These weekly assessments are a companion for the 6th Grade ELA Daily Review. The weekly assessment and daily review covers the 6th grade language standards (that are often missed), vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills.
The assessments are aligned directly to the morning work. It assesses the same skills and question types with different content.
✅ This yearlong bundle of ELA Weekly Assessments includes:
- 12 months of weekly assessments (August - July)
- 4-5 weeks for each month
- printable pdfs
- Self-grading Google Forms
⭐️ How to use the ELA Weekly Assessments:
The suggested way to use this resource is by reviewing the skills throughout the week with the morning work. Then, give the assessment on Friday for a weekly quiz grade.
Not only will this hold your students accountable, but it also helps you monitor students' progress. Plus, it's a consistent weekly quiz grade with a streamlined answer key to be easy on your teacher eyes!
