Description
ESL Topic Questions Packets are designed to encourage ESL learners to express their thoughts and opinions about a certain topic. Each packet contains 5 topics that are related to each other. Each topic has 15 questions (some with branching questions to make the flow of conversation smoother) and can be discussed within an hour or two. The questions can also be used as writing prompts. There are also lists of Useful Vocabulary on each page that you can talk about or explain further to the student, and also pictures related to the topics that you could have your student describe. These ESL Topic Questions Packets are never a bore and your students will become more confident and expressive as they practice their oral English. You can use it during a one-on-one or small group discussion.

Very good. It would be helpful if you would include simple definitions of the useful terms. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment! I originally intended not to include the definitions to add more flexibility to the discussion (ie. it may encourage the learner to look up the meanings themselves before or during the discussion, the teacher can review the terms with the student after the questions, meanings can be discussed according to context while the discussion is going on, use the section as homework, etc.). But I will definitely consider your suggestion. I can probably add a separate page specifically for definitions next time. Thanks for your purchase :)
