6th grade students used this resource to prepare for reading Esperanza Rising. The topics covered were a great jumping off point, however many of the links were inaccessible (due to required subscriptions or just no longer available) for my students and I needed to supplement with resources of my own. I was able to use this as a guide to create a research lesson that worked for my students, but did require a fair amount of tweaking on my part.

We are horribly disappointed to hear about the links in ESPERANZA RISING. We checked all links and found, other than the typical YOUTUBE WARNING screen, all links worked fine,  EXCEPT the audiobook. We have updated the audiobook link and are revising the product. You will have access to the update .  Also, Is it possible you did not click through the Youtube screen? Or… does your district have YouTube BLOCKED? In order to make up for your trouble, we’d like to email you a free product.  Please respond to kiwiousaboutvocab@gmail.com
