Description
This resource includes addition and subtraction story problems with an Earth Day theme!
Why use Earth Day Math Story Problems? Research tells us that children become more engaged in work that has a fun theme. This resource has the novelty of an Earth Day theme, and is fun for the children.
How it works: Children read and solve the 12 story problem cards, and write their answers on the answer sheet.
What’s included: This resource includes 12 Addition and Subtraction problems with an Earth Day theme. The problems are mostly 2-digit numbers, with a couple of 3-digit numbers. They were designed with second-graders in mind, but they could be used for first-graders who need a challenge and third-graders who need to practice solving story problems.
There is an answer sheet and an answer key. These can be used as individual task cards or as a scoot game!
Be sure to download the preview file for a better view of what's in this resource. Thanks!
