We CAN Help: An Earth Day Problem Solving Mini Book for Classroom Discussion
Includes:
* 12 page mini book (pp. 3-8) Simply print mini book pages, cut in half along the dotted lines, and then staple together to create each book. Give students time to think and write about their own ideas, share them with a partner, and share with the whole class. Encourage students to come up with unique ideas for each problem and add specific details!
BONUS FREEBIE: Optional writing pages for display (p. 9). I use this as a place where my students can bring their thoughts together and write a persuasive piece using the big ideas from page 8. I will then have students present their writing and display the writing in our classroom.
Use this activity as fun and easy way to incorporate problem solving, discussion, & persuasive writing with Earth Day!
