Understanding Earth’s rotation and shadows can be challenging for students. This resource provides three engaging activities to help reinforce the concept:
- Students are given a specific time and will draw the sun’s position along with the corresponding shadow.
- Students are shown a shadow and will determine the time of day, then draw the sun’s position.
- Students are provided with the sun’s position and will determine the time of day and draw the corresponding shadow.
